Discovery Organics supplies retailers, restaurants, bakeries, home deliveries, and buying clubs across Western Canada and the North. We partner with our farmers, and we work as closely with our customers to build trusting and meaningful relationships. Many of our customers have been with us since the beginning, and our successes have been mutual and long term. The connection of farm to fork is vital, and we are so grateful to that have engaged with Discovery on that journey.

We share relevant market information so you can stay ahead of the harvest, and source as directly as possible so you know exactly where your produce is coming from. Our Quality and Produce Selection
Great tasting produce starts with healthy soil. Farmers and stewards of the land know this well, and abide that golden rule: farm the soil, and you will be rewarded. At Discovery Organics we do our best to visit every farm we source from personally, to tour their land, put boots on the ground, and learn from the individuals who grow our food. When Mother Nature is ready to provide her healthy bounty, we are there to share the story and feed our neighbours.
Direct relationships give us the benefit of being able to connect customer feedback straight to the farmers themselves. If there is something that you would like to have in your store, if you would like to share your experience with a certain grower, or if you want to learn more about any of our certified organic produce get in touch and we’ll listen to all concerns and answer all questions we can.
How it Works
OFFICE HOURS:
People gotta eat, and we love what we do. We are here answering our phones from 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday, 9am to 12pm Saturday/Sunday, and are closed on December 25th.
DELIVERY DAYS:
We deliver daily in the Vancouver area, and service the Victoria area directly on Sundays. If outside of Metro Vancouver, please inquire about delivery schedules via our freight partners.
ORDER MINIMUMS:
Our minimum for free local delivery is $400. For orders that are below the minimum a $50 delivery fee will be charged, and if you require tailgate service an additional fee of $35 will be included. For order minimums outside the Vancouver area, please ask.
PRICING:
New price lists are issued on Wednesdays and Fridays. Current pricing is issued to registered customers only. Please contact us if you want to become one and browse our list of over 400 produce items, and our growing list of dairy/bulk dry good options.
PAYMENT:
We accept all forms of payment: cash, cheque, credit, and EFT. Please contact us to discuss what works best for you.
ENCLOSURES:
We know a lot about produce, but we do not do everything. To help you access other fantastic producers we offer an Enclosure Program. For a sample of our enclosure partners look here, and let us know about Lower Mainland businesses we should add to our buddy list.
FREIGHT CLAIMS:
If your shipment has been damaged in transit, or produce arrives frozen or has been temperature compromised, your claim MUST be noted on all copies of the shipping waybill with signatures from the delivering driver. Proof of this documentation is essential for ensuring a successful freight claim.
PRODUCE CLAIMS:
If you are not happy with your produce, we will accept returns or claims for the un-saleable portion within 24 hours of receiving. Just send us a note, and we will make things right. To help reduce food waste we do offer discount sales and sell imperfect produce. This availability changes daily and is final sale.
DONATIONS:
We are passionate about supporting our community. If you are a non-profit that would like access to certified organic and Fairtrade produce on your menu for an upcoming event, please contact us.
